About Little Stars Pre-school
Welcome To Little Stars
The Little Stars Pre-school is an initiative of CYCD which has been in operation since April 2002.
We provide childcare for children from age of 1-4 years old; we are able to provide funded places for 2 year olds as long as families meet the required criteria. We also offer 3 year funded places. There are now spaces for up to 100 children.
Little Stars Pre-school’s approach to childcare is to provide a loving, nurturing, safe environment where children’s individual talents are encouraged to grow.
About Little Stars
Our pre-school is registered with OFSTED and the local early year’s development and childcare partnership and contributes to the partnership’s overall planning to provide education and care throughout the foundation stage. Little Stars Pre-school is also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
Our Little Stars Pre-school rated ‘Good’ at recent OFSTED Inspection in November 2018.
The pre-school comprises of two large rooms with toilet areas within them, one with access to 3 toilets the other with 2 toilets and a nappy change area. One big multi-purpose office/staff room, a staff/disabled toilet, reception area and a large hallway. We have a secure outside play area that we have easy access to.
We have named our 2 year room ‘Caterpillar Room’ and our 3 year plus room is the ‘Butterfly Room’.
