Key Intended Outcomes for CYCD Youth Club:
* Increased confidence,
self-esteem and resilience;
* Increased knowledge and
understanding of issues which affect them e.g. bullying, staying safe, safeguarding,
relationships, drugs, alcohol, gang related
issues including knife crime, hate crime Young people will have access to information about a range of health, social
and employment support organisations;
* Development of a strong
sense of identity and life-values enabling them
to resist the attraction of far right and extremist propaganda and recruitment and make positive contributions
within the community;
* Gained experience and
understanding of diversity and equality especially
through the combined able-bodied and disabled youth club sessions;
* Improved skills and work experience through the Youth
Café;
* Increased confidence and
motivation;
* Volunteering opportunities
at the youth club sessions including leadership,
planning, communication skills and employer-attractive skills and attributes such as time-keeping, punctuality,
team work, problem-solving.

The programme of activities includes a
mixture of non-accredited learning opportunities including issue-based
workshops, physical & mental health improvement activities, life-skills
training sessions, study support sessions, trips to various outdoor
Centre/Places and employment support for young people aged 10 – 18 years old. We have also have an
outdoor MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area), Outdoor Gym, Indoor Pool, Table-Tennis,
Play Station, ICT Suite, Board Games and
Many More.
